KitchenQuote publishes cost guides, material comparisons, layout guides, and renovation planning content for Australian homeowners. This page describes how we maintain the integrity of that content.
Our cost guides, product comparisons, and planning content are written and edited independently of our commercial arrangements. Suppliers cannot pay to appear in cost guides, receive favourable comparisons, or have negative information suppressed. If we receive a referral fee from a supplier in our network, that relationship doesn't influence what we write about that supplier or their product category.
Cost estimates published on this site are based on: publicly available market data, quotes collected from Australian kitchen companies and cabinet makers, conversations with industry professionals, and ongoing monitoring of material and labour pricing. All cost figures are Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. We update cost content regularly to reflect current market conditions.
Product and material content is written to be genuinely informative. Where we recommend one product or approach over another, we explain our reasoning. We note limitations, trade-offs, and conditions under which a recommendation may not apply.
